I am in need of help training my 14 month GSD. I got her @ 8 months semi trained with sitz, platz , stay and here, she came from a strick trainer but i wanted her as a pet and seemed to be too nice..if thats an issue? Now I can get her to sit and stay but not without it being a big issue. I have to get really mad at her and raise my voice, than I think she does it out of fear.... but than the next time its like she never learned it and its fustrating to me.

She has a bad habbit of jumping on people and after a million times being scolded (nine) she will stop, but if someone new came into the room once again would be as if she was never taught not to jump up. I understand reputition, but this is out of controll and puts me in a bad mood with her. I am missing a piece to the training thing... I went to a class with her but she doesnt fit into the segments...she is trained too much for beginer and gets way bored, and isnt nearly trained enough for intermit class and disrupts the program... so I am at a lose and my patience is running low. Any help out there? I am not a treat training dog owner and so far anyone who wants to train her wants to use food... not an option! I would like her to listen because i say so not cause i will treat her with food. Thanks for any replys...

I am willing to help you as I don't think you live too far from me.
Sorry, I missed your phone call, let's get together. Sounds like we can straighten this out.
